Echo Map (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the application") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy aims to clearly and transparently explain how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services, and to inform you of your related rights.

The information we collect is limited to what is necessary to achieve the core functions of the application. All data is stored locally on your device by default:

Precise Location Data: When you create a "Memory Capsule," we collect and store your precise geographic location information (latitude and longitude coordinates) to accurately mark your records on the map.

Audio Data: Your recorded voice content will be stored locally and played when you click on the corresponding map marker.

Image Data: Photos you take will be stored locally and viewed when you click on the corresponding map marker.

Device Information (Non-Personally Identifiable Information): We may collect anonymous information such as your device model and operating system version to ensure the compatibility and stable operation of the application.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Providing Core Functionality: We use your location, audio, and image data to create, display, and play "Memory Capsules" on a map.

App Improvement: We optimize user experience and product functionality by analyzing anonymized, aggregated usage data.

Customer Support: We respond to your feedback and requests.

Local Storage: All your recordings, photos, and location coordinates are securely stored locally on your device. We do not actively upload this data to our servers.

Data Sync: The current version of this app does not support cross-device data sync. If you enable iCloud sync in a future version, your location, recordings, and image data will be synced between your various Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service. This process will be subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Never Sharing with Third Parties: We will not sell, trade, or rent your personal data (such as location, recordings, and images) to any third party for marketing or any other purpose.

Data Security: We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the security of your information and prevent unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.

You have the right to:

Access and Information: To understand how we process your personal information.

Elimination: To request the deletion of your personal information. You can delete individual "memory capsules" directly within the app, or clear the entire app's data in system settings to delete all information.

Oppose: Not to receive marketing based on your personal information.

Non-Discrimination: Exercising your privacy rights will not result in you receiving different levels or prices of services.

This app is not designed for children under the age of 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will immediately delete it from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted within the app and updated with the "Last Updated Date" at the top. By continuing to use this application, you agree to the revised policy.
